HYOUNG-MIN KIM
Hyoung-Min Kim studied Dance at the Korean University of Arts in Seoul and at EDDC Arnhem. In Berlin she worked for Constanza Macras/Dorky Park, cie. toula limnaios, Thomas Ostermeier and Lena Meierkord among others. Since 2002 she has been performing her own works.: D.M.Z. (Düsseldorf 2003), Call Back (Spring wave festival Seoul/ Tanztage Berlin 2008), Hello (Juli dans festival, Amsterdam 2008), Vacant lot (Nam jun Paik gallary opening festival, Gyunggi 2008), (making of) District (Tanztage Berlin/Sidance Festival Seoul 2009/schwankhalle Bremen, Co-Choreografie with Lena Meierkord), GUEST, GHOST, DUST (Berlin 2010-2012 and Zürich, Co-Choreography with Tommi Zeuggin). TOMMI ZEUGGIN Tommi Zeuggin born 1974 in Basel (Switzerland) works as a choreographer, performer and teacher. He studied in Paris at the „Ecole internationale de theatre Jacques Lecoq“. As an actor/ dancer he has worked in various countries. In 2002 he created „Drip“ with Attic People, which won an award at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh and toured in various cities in Europe and to New York at the Cherry Lane Theater. He has also worked in Australia in collaboration with the Australian National Choreographic Centre on the project „No one but me“. In 2007 he was selected as a finalist for „the best german dance solo“ at the Euroscene Festival in Leipzig for his work „I should not have looked back“. Since 2002 he works as the assistant to theatre master Philippe Gaulier and teaches regularly in his Paris based theater school. He also runs his own workshops for actors and dancers. In 2011 was invited to teach at the National Institut of Dramatic Arts in Sydney. His teaching focuses on the exploration, pleasure and freedom in creating one ́s own work. Since 2010 he collaborates with Hyoung-Min Kim and they created 4 pieces in Berlin together. |
